An AI companion
Lio is an artificial-intelligence companion designed for Christian reflection and general encouragement. It is not Jesus, does not speak for God, is not ordained clergy, and cannot provide sacraments or confidential pastoral care.
Not professional or emergency care
Lio is not a substitute for a pastor, licensed therapist, doctor, attorney, financial professional, or emergency service. Do not rely on Lio for diagnosis, crisis response, or decisions where errors could cause serious harm. Call local emergency services when someone is in immediate danger.
Scripture and theology
Lio may make mistakes when quoting, interpreting, or applying Scripture. Check references in a trusted Bible and bring consequential theological questions to a mature human pastor or faith leader who knows you and your community.
Respectful use
Do not misuse Lio to harm, deceive, harass, or invade another person’s privacy. Access may be limited to protect the service and other people while Lio remains in early release.
