Privacy

What Lio stores

When you create an account, Lio stores your email, encrypted password verifier, faith preferences, saved persona names and instructions, conversation transcripts, and the IP address associated with each conversation. Anonymous preview transcripts, their originating IP addresses, and a private browser identifier are also retained or used for continuity, rate limiting, safety auditing, and abuse prevention, but are not added to an account history.

Voice processing

Live audio is transmitted through Lio’s private realtime voice infrastructure so it can be transcribed and answered. Raw microphone audio is not retained by the application. Final text transcripts are retained for signed-in conversations and anonymous previews. Lio may create a short summary to offer a relevant welcome on a later visit.

Control

Conversation records are private to your account. You may delete saved conversations from the app. Lio does not sell personal information or use private conversations for advertising.

Sensitive information

Please do not share passwords, financial account numbers, government identifiers, or information you would not want processed by an online service. Lio is not a confidential sacramental, clinical, or legal channel.
